Aseptico Inc. has been creating innovative products that contribute to quality dental care and successful patient outcomes for more than 45 years. First established in 1975 as North Pacific Dental by Doug and Edyie Kazen, the company started as a small producer of dental sundry items. In 1981, Aseptico was formed as the company’s aseptic dental specialty branch, introducing the first sterile water delivery system for dentists. Between 1981 and 1985, North Pacific Dental transited into Aseptico Inc.
In the mid-1980’s, Aseptico revolutionized portable dentistry with the introduction of its portable dentistry line including the AseptiMini ADU-10 – the first manufactured mobile dental delivery unit on the market. Aseptico introduced its first dental electric motor in 1989 and has been trailblazing ever since – engineering improvements large and small that have contributed to better quality dental motors throughout the world.
The company introduced the first rotary endodontic motor in 1995 – revolutionizing the field of endodontics. Aseptico further advanced rotary endo technology in 1999 when it introduced its AEU20ITR endodontic motor with Intelligent Torque Reduction and Auto-Stop-Reverse functionality.
In 1998, the US military began its working relationship with Aseptico Inc. for the development of military field equipment for dentistry and medical applications which led to the development of additional portable dental delivery systems such as the Aseptico® TaskForce, Transport III, and Express, as well as portable sinks for medical and dental applications.
In 2007, Aseptico was the first to introduce an all-in-one electric motor capable of performing restorative dentistry, oral surgery, dental implantology, and rotary endodontic applications. The all-in-one platform, found in Aseptico® 6000 and 7000 Series motors, provides unique clinical benefits to both general practitioners and specialists, enabling them to replace multiple motor systems with one system that can do it all. Also in 2007, Aseptico introduced the AMC-20 Mobile Dental Cart, which was followed by the Aseptico® AMC-25 Mobile Dental Cart, and the Aseptico® AMC-15 Mobile Dental Carts.
In 2014, Aseptico introduced its line of portable hydraulic patient chairs and professional seating, including the AsepticoChair™ and Hydraulic AseptiChair™ - adjustable, high-quality portable seating with 300 lb. weight capacity that are praised for their portability, ease-of-use and durability.
Although Aseptico is renowned for its dental motors, endodontic systems, oral surgical systems and portable dentistry solutions, the company has also introduced a broad range of dental products that greatly assist dentists in their-day-to-day operations including the HandiDam® Pre-framed Dental Dam, AseptiSpray™ Advanced Handpiece Lube for complete internal maintenance of all dental handpieces, Aseptico® Technique Chain & Grid, the remarkable traction system that professionals use worldwide, and Aseptico® Powered Trolleys which keep dental motors, lasers, ultrasonic scalers, and other dental equipment organized and moved easily from room-to-room. Most recently, Aseptico has revolutionized portable dentistry system once again with the introduction of its new GO Ultra Portable Delivery System – a completely revolutionary design for the modern mobile dentistry professional.
